About the role:
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager I-Professional Services to join the Capital Market Project Management Practice organization at FIS.
About the team:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Capital Market Project Management Practice (PMP) organization, bringing together 300 Project Managers from four different business line into one unit. Our project managers are key drivers, managing and leading strategic client projects, with 5000+ inflight projects.
What you will be doing:
In your role as Project Manager I-Professional Services:
You will start as a Project Analyst, working closely with the key project manager and consultants, as well as alongside industry leading professionals from across other business line – Sales, Development, & Client Services.
You will have the opportunity to support Project Managers who own the delivery of our products to our clients. Learning the key skills required to be a successful project manager, including project onboarding, time approval, budget management, project progress reporting, risk management, change governance & client relationship management.
You will develop a sound understanding of the fundamental modules of some of the products and how these can be configured to meet our clients’ needs
You will work with other consultants and project managers to highlight any potential issues to allow pro-active solutions to be offered.
As you build experience in your role, you can expect to progress your career by progressing into a role where you will lead client facing projects, have budget responsibility, and gain a deep understanding of our products. Our projects are highly valued by our clients and you will develop into a leading role within our team.

We are looking for inquisitive self-starters with a strong work ethic and the confidence to challenge how things are done. You should have an eye for detail with the ability to approach problems in a calm manner. Other key qualities we are looking for :
Excellent communication written and verbal in English listening and rapport building skills
Proactive mindset, with a willingness to ask questions and put forward ideas
Highly organized with good time management skills and an ability to multi-task
Proven leadership and teamwork skills combined with the desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
