 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Financial Operation

Conduct all AR / AP accounting and system update activities for specific assigned assets/customers.
Update all accounts revenue reports
Manage accounts receivable/payable inquiries
Manage and control the receivables accounting function
Closely coordinate with the auditors for their requirements
Ensure that proper and separate accounting and reporting is done for all the Projects.

Financial Reporting

Assist in executing the timely and accurate closing and consolidation of all ledgers and accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Reconcile balance sheet schedules and follow up with Departments and subsidiaries on outstanding issues and concerns
Assist in preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards
Provide support to internal and external auditors and promptly clarify all audit queries raised
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth external Audit verification in accordance with statutory requirements and applicable international accounting standards
Handle special analyses such as financial analysis and cash flow forecasting for departments and subsidiaries
Handle the closing of subsidiaries maintained at the Group level

Budgeting & Control

Assist in developing budget plans and schedules in line with the company’s policies and ensure the soundness and integrity of all budget data.
Assist in overseeing the variance analysis for all balance sheet and income statement line items in relation to the budget to ensure that every aspect of the company and department budget variances are analysed in detail with supporting evidence and commentary.

RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE

Min of: 4+ years of experience of financial accounting and management accounting experience

YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION

Min of: N/A

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

Experience of accounting within real estate or related industry is preferred
Experience in A/P

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Knowledge of and ability to apply international accounting standards (IFRS) and ERP systems
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to internal controls
Good analytical skills
Vigilant and detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Strong time management capabilities

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor degree in accounting

Job Description

Role: Center of Excellence Manager

Location: Al Bateen - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Purpose:

  • IT Project Manager to manage IT Projects and project segments by specified objectives and within specified resources.
  • Lead the daily activities (initiation, planning, design, monitoring and control) until the closure of the project.
  • Manage resources to support project activities keeping in mind that the best quality standards are not affected and project timelines are tracked

Key Accountabilities of the role:

  • Track and control project scope delivery, schedule plan and delivery timelines.
  • Facilitating infrastructure and environment relevant project requests.
  • Initiate own and Follow up on project internal tickets/actions and approvals until controls.
  • Lead in project administration relevant documentation preparation, review and maintenance.
  • Control and maintain project financials, invoicing, timesheets, contracts and renewals.
  • Prepare project status reports or other relevant reports in timely manner.
  • Implementation of change control management process to execute change requests.
  • Report, analyze, track, communicate and control project risks and issues until closure.
  • Keep close contact with key project stakeholders
  • Document project progress and [Project file, Project Log].
  • Administer project tasks with the ownership.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as a team player
  • Vendor relationship management skills strongly required
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet timeline on consistent basis.
  • Accurately and clearly convey timely information appropriate to target audience.
  • Strong communication skills including written and oral presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
