Senior Marketing Executive - Luxury Retail, Al Tayer Group, Dubai, UAE

 JOB PURPOSE

Support the Lead Brand Marketing Manager on the development, ideation, strategic thinking and delivery of key projects and brand initiatives to build engaging campaigns & experiences for our Fine Jewellery & Luxury Home customer and target audiences.

FUNCTIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build monthly calendar for Marketing and ensure they are aligned with content calendars and business priorities
  • Lead ideation on monthly activities and creative storytelling in coordination with internal departments (content, social, creative…) ensuring consistency across platforms
  • Recommend creative and cost-effective marketing activities and source events/sponsorships to consider partnering with to build brand awareness across key markets
  • Manage brand marketing spend ensuring all activities are within budget making savings where possible
  • Be the expert on market trends and share findings internally to leverage across campaigns
  • Drive branding activities in line with buying team priorities
  • Develop partnerships with key brands to drive on-site traffic and differentiation from competition
  • Sign off artwork ensuring brand tone of voice and image is maintained
  • Drive media campaigns alongside digital marketing team, ensuring trackable KPIs and brand building activations
  • Support head of marketing and engagement manager in executing CRM and loyalty strategies and tactical plan to increase customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Liaise with internal & marketplace teams on GWP selection & tactical promotions
  • Build the cross-category/cross-brand customer profile and identify activities to target each segment
  • Work closely with social media team on strategy building to drive growth across platforms
  • Build brands in partnership with key social platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat), leading branding activations to grow awareness in the region
  • Ensuring delivery of tasks within budget and guidelines
  • Oversee Brand Marketing & PR Executive on planning and coordinating events – sponsorships, brand visits, PR activations, VIP events etc.
  • Coordinate with the events teams to sign off on venues, F&B & decoration ensuring brand image and perception is maintained
  • Negotiate best rates with production & events agencies/ suppliers to optimize costs
  • Select and sign off on upcoming events in key markets, securing sponsorships & exposure through partnerships
  • Sign off on brand guidelines for events, ensuring brand image is maintained

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide and motivate teams  to enhance performance and produce quality work

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND CONTINUED EDUCATION

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing and Communications

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • 3 plus years’ experience in Brand Marketing

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Good understanding of the Fine Jewellery and Luxury Home industry
  • Extremely strong customer focus – prioritizing customer experience above everything else
  • Experience in working with data analysis and segmentation
  • Strong analytical skills, including a good command of analytical software / tools
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, including being able to lead cross-functional teams to help achieve specific targets / goals
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Hands-on with data, with a solid analytical background in areas such as; customer profiling, segmentation & targeting, propensity modelling, data cleansing.
  • Strong project management/organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and provide strong attention to detail
  • Detailed knowledge of marketing and analytics technologies and product development lifecycles
  • Strong commercial acumen, preferably with retail and e-commerce experience
  • Proactively monitoring the latest trends and making suggestions where necessary

Principal Process Engineer, SABIC, Jubail City, KSA

 JOB SUMMARY

The Principal Process Engineer shall be responsible for the design, review and verification of engineering on assigned projects to ensure safe, high quality, fit for purpose design in addition to providing consultancy services and studies to SABIC Affiliates. As a lead he shall ensure process engineering is aligned with all disciplines, executing the work within budget and on schedule whilst motivating and managing a team of engineers and designers and developing younger engineers.

 

Job Purpose & Responsibilities

Sound knowledge of design & selection of various types of compression systems. Strong knowledge of relevant APIs. Able to demonstrate experience of developing/evaluating compressor surge control scheme along with hot/cold gas by pass system. Candidate must be able to define various scenarios for dynamic simulation for compressor systems. Ideal candidate shall have proven experience of sizing and selection of relief and flare systems including, relief load estimation, relief valve sizing and selection, inlet/tail pipe and flare header sizing and flare KOD. Candidate must be proficient in using Aspen Flare System Analyzer for sizing and evaluation of flare systems. Candidate should have expertise in design of cryogenic storage systems. In addition, the candidate should be able to perform following design activities independently.    

  • Heat & Material Balance
  • PFDs
  • P&IDs
  • Develop Process Control Scheme gas compression systems and cryogenic storage systems
  • Equipment/Package Data sheets and technical Specification
  • Material Selection
  • Flare System Hydraulics
  • Equipment Sizing & Selection
  • Technical Bid Evaluation
  • Troubleshooting and optimization of compression, flare and cryogenic storage  systems in operating process facilities

 

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Typically 20 years’ experience in the petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil or gas industrial environments. Ideally, 15 years should be with a recognized international FEED/EPC contractor, performing process engineering to build green and brown field facilities in the petrochemical or related chemical and Fertilizer industry.

Experience in the following

  • Complete project cycle (basic engineering and detailed engineering including construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support) of green/ brown field projects is ideal.
  • Resolving operational / design issues
  • Process design specifically related to PDP & FEED
  • Pre-tender stage design
  • Scheduling, man-hour control, productivity and status reporting secondment

He shall also have following:

  • Typical FEED project size of circa150.000 hrs.
  • Up to date with the latest technical developments in the respective fields of expertise

 JOB SUMMARY

The Principal Process Engineer shall be responsible for review and ensuring compliance to E&PM Sustainability Engineering procedures for Mega Projects in PDP, Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering phases with the objective of minimization of GHG emissions, energy consumption, water consumption and waste generation, to improve corporate Sustainability footprint.

 

Job Purpose & Responsibilities

  • Review, update and development of SES related to Sustainability
  • Incorporation of policy and Sustainability requirements into the engineering design. Review, update, development and align the SES with Policy
  • Support preparation of project specific Sustainability section Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents for mega projects.
  • Participate in technical bid clarification activities, face-to-face clarification meetings with bidders, technical evaluation reports, bidder ratings and other bidding cycle activities up to the award of contract.
  • Review of documents and deliverables during different phases of the project.
  • Support senior engineer to provide sustainability process and engineering consultancy service to the Affiliates, Mega and Site Projects.
  • Evaluate waivers and clarifications of Sustainability and Energy Efficiency according to SABIC Sustainability Direction and Energy Efficiency Policy.
