Context
The HRIS & Payroll Administrator oversees the human resources databases, including gathering data, improving the performance of various HRIS processes, and making recommendations to improve performance metrics across departments. The incumbent is responsible for data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with local Labour Law regulations. This job requires strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in HRIS software applications.
Missions/Main Duties
Maintain and update data in the HRIS and payroll database to ensure accuracy and consistency of data at all times
Provide training and technical support to existing employees and new hires on the HRIS functionality applicable to them.
Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
Administer the annual Global People Survey (employee engagement survey) and spot surveys throughout the year, as applicable.
Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests.
Perform statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and run queries.
Record and secure storage of HR metrics and employee performance data.
Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required.
Keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS.
Analyze data from HRIS systems to produce insights on employee performance, and key HR metrics.
Create reports and dashboards to provide leaders with analytical insights into current findings. Identify data points that highlight issues and work with HR management to present potential solutions.
Resolve/troubleshoot issues with functionality, in partnership with SYSTRA’s HRIS vendors and SYSTRA’s IT team, when applicable.
Perform application upgrades, as required.
Manage access to HRIS systems, ensuring that confidential employee information is kept safe and secure.
Educate employees on how to use HRIS systems and provide ongoing support as needed
Maintain knowledge in SYSTRA’s HRIS platforms.
Keep up-to-date with changes in local laws and regulations and ensure that HRIS systems comply with these changes.
Profile/Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or HRIS certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a HRIS or similar role
Analytical skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong level of HRIS knowledge and functionality
Competent using IT systems including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Data management skills
Relationship management skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to keep abreast of changes in applicable platform offerings
Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data
