Job Summary:
The primary function of this role is to ensure that all systems are operating correctly in order to facilitate the smooth running of ADIH business.To this end, the IT Adminstrator is responsible for providing desktop support and hardware maintenance for the IT infrastrucure for the Abu Dhabi Office.
Duties & Essential Tasks:
•Provision of Desktop and internet assistance.
•Communicating with different levels of users with different needs.
•Ability to analyze and understand complex technical scenarios and suggest solutions for technical problems.
•Technical support with servers.
•Implement microsoft products, implement windows 2003 servers and clients, backup and restore system data, antivirus for LAN.
•Technical support for I.T assets of printers, terminals and remote units.
•Perform other ADIH related tasks as and when assigned.
Job Requirements:
•Degree in Computer Science, MCSE, CCNA (desirable).
•Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
•Experience in offering desktop support for Windows and MS office.
•Experience with relevant tools and technologies (VPN, proxies, authentication services, firewalls, exchange servers, windows security etc.).
•Experience in setting up and troubleshooting peripherals, PCs and phone systems.
•Knowledge of network security concepts and practices.
•Deep understanding of networking and the major internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SMTP, DNS).
•Abiltiy to remain educated about technological developments and adapt working practices accordingly.
