WHAT TO EXPECT
 
Reporting to the Senior QHSE Engineer, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic QHSE Engineer to be based in our Dammam office. In this role, you will lead and develop mutually beneficial relationships between Gates Internal and external customers/auditors which are strategic or nationally/locally important. You will proactively identify solutions and develop QMS processes that add value to our customers.
A QHSE Engineer you need to have a mindset that focuses on creating customer trust, value, and loyalty and hence we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter who understands how to partner and collaborate with the business. We need someone who can influence, is result-driven, and has a strong QHSE background.

Key Responsibilities

    Responsible for the evaluation of company's practices, processes, and procedures with respect to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 Standards
    Responsible to  monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations within an assigned area.
    QHSE Engineers design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect employees and environment safety.
    Has the authority in the field to investigate environmental accidents and other public safety concerns within their market.
    Is responsible to design and deliver training programs to provide Quality & safety awareness education.
    QHSE Engineers give presentations about current safety hazards based on market research to educate others about avoiding health, safety, and environmental hazards.
    QHSE Engineers assess risks associated with tools and equipment, jobsites, and work environments
    Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)

 
ABOUT YOU

    Bachelor's degree in science / engineering
    Two years of related experience in Mechanical workshop activities
    Certified NDT Level II
    A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology QHSE trends and how they

      would  apply to real world projects.

    Ability to communicate openly, honestly and constructively and treat all customers and coworkers with dignity and respect.
    Ability to work on offshore/onshore site for extended periods of time and do site visits.
    Knowledge of Hydraulic and Service related/supported applications is an added advantage
