Group Head of Finance, Skybound Wealth Management, UAE

Skybound Wealth Management is seeking a driven, experienced and strategic individual to join our team as the Group Head of Finance, based in our Dubai office. This role offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to lead our financial operations and strategies on a global scale, working closely with our CFO. The successful candidate will report directly to the CFO and will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company.

Role Overview:

As the Global Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of Skybound Wealth Management, ensuring financial health, compliance and strategic growth. Your primary duties will include managing financial forecasting and reporting, day to day oversight of finance processes as well as developing and implementing financial strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Leadership: Lead and manage the global finance team, ensuring high performance and development.
    Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and drive growth.
    Internal Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    External Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of a multitude of regulatory submissions, year end process, audit and group consolidation.
    Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team.
    Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring the company's financial stability and compliance.
    Operational Efficiency: Implement and improve financial processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
    Project Management: Lead and participate in special projects as required, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company objectives.

We Are Looking For:

A chartered accountant, preferably with multiple years experience in audit and within an operational finance function of a multi-jurisdictional business. Key qualities of the candidate include:

    Strategic Thinker: A forward-thinking individual who can develop and implement effective financial strategies.
    Strong Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, capable of inspiring and guiding a global finance team.
    Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
    Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for detail with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
    Strong Communication Skills: Given the collaboration with multiple stakeholders and team members; clear, professional and efficient communication skills are crucial.
    Proactive Approach: Proactive and positive, with a willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
    Team Player: Collaborative, with the ability to work well with others and foster a team-oriented environment.
    Flexibility: Adaptable and open to change, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
    Residency: With the group finance function based out of Dubai, we are looking for the Group Head to also be based in Dubai to work closely with the team and other members of the Senior Management Team. We are open to candidates relocating to Dubai from overseas.
