Our team partners with cross-functional teams on inland or offshore rigs to add value to oil well extractions and provide support to the success of our field operations.

As a General Operator – Wireline Services, you will be responsible for:

• Completing job related paperwork and other records for self and assigned crew.
• Maintaining records and communications as required by the district manager.
• Being fully competent in all aspects of operator duties at the well site and at the shop
• Maintaining the unit and performing all pre-job duties, well-site operations and post-job duties, as well as training of junior operators.
• Ensuring compliance of all Federal, Country, State, Local and WLE regulations applicable to WLE explosives operations.
• Driving company vehicles in a safe manner, observing all Company and government regulations and arrive at well site or other designated destination at scheduled time.
• Participating actively in quality improvement efforts with respect to ballistics operations.
• Promoting and maintaining good customer relations.
• Carrying out all required responsibilities safely as described in Managing Base Operations,
• Managing Well Operations and Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals
• Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience with Baker Hughes tools and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Wireline Services (with off shore experience).
• Be able to identify the proper product and service for simple to complex applications.
• Have the ability to work and communicate well with internal and external customers.
