Job Title: Auditor Accountant

Department: Finance / Accounting

Reports to: Audit Manager / Senior Auditor

Job Summary:

An Auditor Accountant is responsible for performing audits and ensuring that a company’s financial records, processes, and systems are accurate, compliant, and efficient. The role involves examining financial statements, identifying areas for improvement, providing recommendations, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Audits: Conduct thorough audits of financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles (such as GAAP or IFRS).
• Internal Controls: Evaluate and test internal controls to assess the effectiveness of risk management and identify areas of potential improvement.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate working papers that document audit findings and provide support for conclusions.
• Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with financial regulations and accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of reports for regulatory bodies.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, presenting audit findings, and providing recommendations for process improvements.
• Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments to identify potential financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Reconciliation: Review account reconciliations and identify discrepancies in financial data.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with management, other departments, and external auditors to address and resolve audit-related issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements in accounting and auditing processes based on findings and industry best practices.
• Tax and Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring the organization complies with tax laws, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other duties related to financial accounting and auditing as required by management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in auditing or accounting, preferably in a corporate environment or public accounting firm.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good organizational skills and time management.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position
• Occasional travel may be required for on-site audits
• Some overtime may be expected during peak audit periods

Salary Range:

Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1,230.00 - QAR1,530.00 per month

Experience:

• total work: 6 years (Preferred)
