We are now looking for Project Manager to be part in our Project Management organization in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Overview

We are now looking for a Project Manager, specializing in SmartPlant Projects within the Upstream Oil & Gas sector, you will lead and oversee the execution of projects and support bids in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely execution of critical timelines and budgets for a portfolio of design projects, leveraging your expertise in SPF, SmartPlant -2D/3D tools and project management..

Reports To

The Project Manager reports to the Head of Project Management.

Responsibilities and Duties

The duties of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Lead and manage SmartPlant projects assigned by the end customer and the company.

    Direct and supervise project team members involved in SmartPlant projects and design.

    Collaborate effectively with other team members, company stakeholders, and end customers.

    Identify and monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    Ensure the safe, high-quality, timely, and cost-efficient implementation of SmartPlant projects.

    Optimize resource capacity utilization in SmartPlant projects.

    Ensure availability and efficient utilization of SmartPlant software for projects.

    Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout SP3D projects.

    Efficiently report project activities, deviations, and achievements to management.

    Measure and reliably report project progress and forecasts.

    Propose and implement improvements to enhance overall project performance.

    Ensure SmartPlant project deliverables meet agreed quality, scope, and schedule.

    Verify scope variations and present them to management from a scope, time, and cost perspective.

    Ensure effective performance of interdisciplinary checks and other quality checks in SmartPlant projects.

    Responsible for Date base audits / Model reviews / FAT / SAT

    Client interface

    Responsible for design change notice

    Capability to handle large scale of projects.

Preferred Skills & Requirements

    Engineering Graduate (BSc. or MSc.).

    Technical qualification in SmartPlant tools and design.

    Minimum 20 years of Oil & Gas (upstream preferred) experience with at least 10 years in a senior role.

    Proficient in all stages of SmartPlant project delivery.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Fluent in the English language.

    Alignment with company values of teamwork, transparency, honesty, and equality.

    Any locally or internationally recognized professional certifications and affiliations related to SmartPlant and design are considered a plus.

    Strong understanding of project planning and control.

    Meets UAE visa requirements.

    Approval from ADNOC as PM will be considered a plus.
