The Legal Administrative Assistant will support the legal team in managing daily office operations. This role involves handling administrative tasks, preparing legal documents, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems to ensure smooth and efficient workflow in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to attorneys and paralegals, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
• Document Management: Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring documents are accurately archived and easily retrievable.
• Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, answering inquiries, scheduling consultations, and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Legal Research: Assist in basic legal research and gather pertinent information to support case preparation and documentation.
• Billing and Records: Help manage billing processes, track expenses, and maintain accurate records of legal case files and client communications.
• Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure that all legal documents and communications adhere to confidentiality and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
•Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience within a legal or law office setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with experience in legal management software and strong digital skills, demonstrating ease in utilizing various tools to create presentations, PowerPoint slides, diagrams, charts, and other visual materials.
• Research Skills: Basic research skills with the ability to analyze and compile legal updates and amendments.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a strong ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Discretion: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
