Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controller (Aconex Expert) to join our team! The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling project documentation using the Aconex platform for a high-end luxury hospitality, residential, and infrastructure development. The role requires expertise in document control processes, compliance standards, and efficient collaboration between project stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
Document Management & Control:
• Manage the full document lifecycle, including submission, approval, distribution, and archiving using Aconex.
• Ensure all project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports, are correctly classified, stored, and maintained.
• Implement document control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor and track document revisions, ensuring that only the latest approved versions are used.
Aconex Administration & Optimization:
• Act as the Aconex system administrator, managing user access, training, and troubleshooting issues.
• Develop workflows and processes within Aconex to optimize document handling and approval cycles.
• Generate reports and dashboards from Aconex for project progress tracking and compliance audits.
• Ensure metadata tagging, document numbering, and file structuring are aligned with project and company standards.
Coordination & Stakeholder Communication:
• Work closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth document exchange.
• Provide training and support to team members on Aconex best practices.
• Ensure timely responses to document-related queries and resolve discrepancies in document submissions.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all project documentation complies with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Conduct regular document audits to maintain data integrity and security.
• Support risk management by ensuring proper records are maintained for future reference and legal compliance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in document control for large-scale projects, preferably in luxury hospitality, residential, and infrastructure developments.
• Expert-level knowledge of Aconex and its functionalities.
• Strong understanding of document control standards, ISO requirements, and industry best practices.
• Experience working in a PMC environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for stakeholder engagement. Preference will be given to candidates based in the UAE
