Role Purpose
The Business Operations Specialist is a detail-oriented professional who supports the NIA management team in coordinating and executing various operational tasks within budget and timeline. This role involves managing co-source requirements, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and partners, and ensuring the delivery of operational plans on time.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1 to 2 years of work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Knowledge of internal audit processes and standards is an advantage.
Strong understanding of learning and development principles and practices. Proven ability to support and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

Technical Operations Skills
Strong speaking, presentation, analytical, communication (written and oral), time management, and decision-making skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage own workload.
Experience in dynamic, fast-paced settings, ideally within large or multinational companies.
Proven experience in project delivery and administrative tasks.
Learning and development administration experience is highly desirable.
Ability to maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in relevant business management software and tools.
Adaptability to changing priorities and situations.
Digital Skills
Takes proactive ownership of upskilling to ensure continuous improvement in digital skills.
Demonstrates technical skills, ethics, and abilities to perform activities consistently to a defined standard while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, independence, and skepticism.
Demonstrates functional vision and ability to anticipate future trends accurately by extrapolating existing trends and facts and filling the gaps in knowledge by thinking innovatively.
Management

Supports Management by ensuring that audit requirements and expectations are communicated to co-source partners prior to the start of audit fieldwork in a timely manner.
Monitors timelines, milestones, and quality of audit deliverables to ascertain if there is any time or cost overruns incurred by the co-source partner(s).
