JOB DESCRIPTION

Claims Pre-Approval

Handle Medical Claim Preapproval.
Liaise with insurance companies to process preapprovals, new insurance policies, modifications to existing policies
Obtain information from Insurance Companies to verify the accuracy and completeness of information on claims preapproval
Monthly conclude all preapproval for timely claims submission
Increase in preapproval & to maintain minimum ratio
Ensure the adherence to the SLA between Insurance and Billing departments
Ensure the adherence to the departments SOPs
Provide advice to the team on clinical aspects in bills/ claims and recommend the solutions.
Monitor the issues related to the interdepartmental transactions which may affect the quality and TAT for the processes internally on time.
Managing and coordinating with the team for a smooth revenue cycle completion

Coordination with Submission

Provide the functional supports for the smooth cycle completion
Collaborate with the recovery team for on time recovery support and help achieve the targets and DSO levels · Maintain healthy relationship and develop rapport with the insurance companies.
Discuss with the clinicians/ relations/ billing on the rejections and develop solutions collaboratively.

Reports & Updates

Circulate updated details of Insurance companies to all units in UAE
Keep the team members updated on rejections on preapproval on daily basis.
