About the Role

The System Controls Analyst is responsible for detecting, minimizing and preventing all types of Business Fraud and Business Leakage or Risks by utilizing fraud management tools and requested reports.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor system performance and control mechanisms to detect potential fraud or irregularities.

• Ensure real-time alerts and controls are effectively configured and functioning as intended.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify system vulnerabilities and areas requiring enhanced controls.

• Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns that could indicate fraudulent activity.

• Collaborate with team to design and implement fraud detection rules and alerts.

• Regularly review and refine fraud control measures to address emerging threats.

• Ensure all system controls align with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Maintain detailed documentation of controls, processes, and any updates for audit purposes.

• Work closely with IT, operations, and finance teams to align system controls with business objectives.

• Provide support and insights to stakeholders to address control-related concerns effectively.

• Identify opportunities to enhance system controls through automation and advanced technologies.

• Participate in system upgrades, ensuring controls remain effective and aligned with organizational goals.

• Support investigations of suspected fraud incidents by providing system data, analysis, and insights.

• Recommend and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

• Perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately

• Be aware of, and adhere to, all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait

• Zain abides by fulfilling the occupational health and safety certificate requirements that establishes and maintains an OH&S management system that eliminate hazards and minimizes OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), take advantage of OH&S opportunities and addresses OH&S management system nonconformities associated with its activities

What We Need From You

Skills:

• Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization

• Understanding of modelling, financial accounting and reporting

• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Clear ability to understand the dynamics of financial data to extract relevant information

• Experience working independently across a cross-functional team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and frame key issues

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience designing KPIs, reports, dashboards

• Strong understanding of telecommunications products, trends and technology markets

• Strong SQL skills

Education Level/ Major:

Bachelor's Degree required; In Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field that bridges business and technical disciplines.

Years Of Experience:

Up to 5 Years
