We need a Career Opportunities: Specialist, Government Relations Commercial

Job Summary/Purpose:

Review legal documentation to ensure that the Legal Department is operative as per ASG guidelines and third parties' legal compliances.

1. Prepare periodical reports, analyze various management reports for compliance with the Al Sayer Group policies and submit the observations to the Senior Group Manager, Legal Services.
2. Apply and ensure compliance with all provisions of Conventions related to Business Licensing.
3. Monitor the implementation of the procedures involved in securing/renewing the Government licenses for establishing and operating Al Sayer Group.
4. Formulate the Article of Association, secure the respective Owner signature and submit it to the Ministry of Justice.
5. Review the documentation to secure the Agency Certificate, Import License, Municipality and Fire fighting License, prior to submitting to the Ministry of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce for approval and registration for ASG Board Members companies.
6. Register the company name and logo in the Chamber of Commerce records after securing the License from the Ministry of Commerce for all ASG Board Members companies.
7. Maintain updated records of government licenses and business permits for ASG companies along with ASG Board Members companies.
8. Formulate the updated list of the government licenses due for renewal and assure that related procedures are completed on time.
9. Secure the necessary bank capital documentation for establishing a new company.
10. Review the latest legislation affecting the company's licensing and its business and represent ASG at the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Justice in matters related to the above.
11. Monitor issuing and renewal of licenses for ASG companies including MNSS branches, Affiliates/subsidiaries licenses, Import licenses in coordination with Administration Department.
12. Register commercial agencies and trademarks of ASG at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
13. Review legal documentation required to open new companies and monitor the progress of issuing the necessary licenses, review legal contracts of board members and third parties' contracts.
14. Arrange company lawyer, vehicles, staff, partners and external lawyer powers of attorneys within and outside Kuwait for personal Board Members.
15. Follow up on land and state property contract issuing and renewal of contracts, on chalet contracts, renewal and pay annual rent for Industrial land and Chalets.
16. Follow up on legal aspects of contracts and licenses of Kuwait Free Trade Zone company facilities and pay annual rent.
 People Management:
N/A
 Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.
 Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on internal communication portals.
 Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
 Perform other duties as requested by management.
