We need a HR Business Partner,
PRIMARY purpose
Act as a trusted HR advisor and the primary interface of the HR function with the business in order to provide a link between HR and ensure their human resource requirements are proactively understood and delivered in a timely manner.

1. Identify HR requirements for the respective function to ensure that they are acted upon effectively and the required support is provided in a timely manner.
2. Liaise with specialist HR functions in order to convey business relevant information and context in order to ensure the delivery of tailored solutions.
3. Review the business functions organizational structure, job responsibilities and manpower requirements, in coordination with the Organizational Development function, in order to ensure the right roles, responsibilities and resources are in place.
4. Understand compensation philosophy of organization and act as an Internal Consultant to Line Managers on day to day compensation issues such as salary adjustment request, promotional increases and pay for performance programs.
5. Ensure Line Management is aware of and properly using Dolphin’s Recognition Programs to promote a culture of high performance through Dolphin Energy Ltd.
6. Initiate/Communicate PAF processing including promotion, salary adjustment, end of service, IDP milestone, activation and deactivation of allowances ensuring accuracy and adherence to set policies and processes.
7. Provide project management support and HR expertise to the business in order to support with specific related projects ensuring quality and adherence to set timelines.
8. Provide support during the development of HR initiatives as part of the development of the HR strategy based on research, design and understanding of the business environment.
9. Collaborate with the business in order to manage employee relations issues ensuring the provision of expert HR advice and adherence to set guidelines.
10. Handle Dolphin Energy Promotion cycles. Ensure set timeline are met.
11. Manage Dolphin Energy performance appraisal rating process, by validating ratings, ensuring set timelines are met.
12.Manage and implement employee recognition initiatives in an effective manner ensuring improvement in employee engagement.
13. Handle employee grievances, counseling and disciplinary actions in consultation with business partners and the HR function ensuring adherence to set policies and procedures.
14. Validate and supervise the employee exit process and procedure ensuring specified steps are followed and proper documentation provided.
15. Identify talent in the respective function and coordinates with the talent Acquisition & nationalization team in order to ensure that the right programs are in place to effectively develop and nurture national talent within the function.
16. Participate in the recruitment of staff in the respective function including screening, interviewing and selection, in coordination with the Talent Acquisition & Nationalization team, to ensure the right talent is recruited in line with the predefined manpower requirements.
17. Provide support for employee orientation program, collaborate with Talent Acquisition & Nationalization team & the respective function.
18. Advise leaders in the respective function on all HR-related matters to ensure their decision making considers talent development and retention.
19. Develop interventions aimed towards improving the function’s performance through its people and ensures that the leaders take ownership of the effective implementation of recommended interventions.
20. Escalate unresolved/ serious issues within a function to the respective specialist HR team and follows up to ensure the same has been resolved.
21. Communicate and support in the implementation of amendments to HR policies, procedures and standards to ensure the respective function adheres to the same.
22.Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by the Head of HR Business Support.
