We are now looking for another team member to join us in the Supply Chain Department as the Logistics Officer – RAK, based in RAK, UAE.

What you’ll be doing:


Customs

    Preparation of all decimation requirement for all shipments for customs clearance assisting the Customs Representative.
    Prepare shipment in the Customs System (Dhabi System) for customs clearance.
    Preparing daily customs clearance documentation for the monthly report to Finance Department.
    Back up for the Customs representative during Annual leave/absence

Dispatch

    Assist dispatch team for local and GCC deliveries.

    Schedule and book trailers and liaise with Logistics Coordinator for loading dates.

    Share all booking information (loading dates, ETD, ETA etc. with customers for approve to proceed.

    End to end dispatch tracking/monitoring and reporting any delays for changes to all interested parties including the customer.

    Perform all SAP transactions required for each shipment including MIGO to close out all order in a timely manner.

Imports

    Coordinate and assist Supply Chain Coord. tracking inbound shipments both local and global

    Liaise with Freight forwarders monitoring and updating ETA’s for all shipments and escalate to Supply Chain Coordinator any/all charges and delays.

Other responsibilities

    Maintain and monitor records for LC’s, follow up on dates, amount, and other details to accounts department.

    Control and manage insurance for all inbound and outbound shipment, all insurance claims to completion, policy follow up with group.

    Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned by team lead or Supply Chain Manager.

What we’d love for you to have:

        3 years of experience in all Logistics Functions
        Strong knowledge of Logistics best practices, documentation, negotiating transport rates and handling transport & freight companies
        Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
        Proficiency in using software and enterprise resource planning (ERP/ SAP) systems.
        Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
        Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build close effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
        Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to Procurement and Logistics.
