Job Purpose
The Assistant Marketing Manager will lead all marketing initiatives for our core target audience / operator groups and be responsible for engaging the sales team, drive growth for our top sellers and innovations through integrated online and offline campaigns, plan and execute the country data-driven marketing plans including an always-on social media content calendar.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for the lower gulf region, consisting of the following three markets: UAE, Qatar and Oman and will be reporting to the UFS Marketing Manager in Dubai. As the Assistant Marketing manager your objective is to drive exponential growth for foods portfolio and lead local Digital Demand Creation activations across lower gulf. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans and activities. You will also be able to leverage the insights, experiences and infrastructures/technology used by the rest of the GCC marketing team as well as the Global UFS team.
It’s a unique opportunity to work closely with the dynamic Food & Beverage industry while under the umbrella of a successful multinational marketing organization like Unilever. We’re looking for smart, energetic, entrepreneurial, fresh-thinkers who love to create value for customers through powerful online and offline content!
Strategic:
• Build local market understanding and operator insights.
• Help create the annual marketing plan and content calendar
Execution:
• Implement integrated data-driven campaigns.
• Execute impactful innovation campaigns for new innovations.
Tracking:
• Track campaign KPI’s, consolidate learning, and take corrective measures when needed.
• Top 10 tracking including 6Ps, financial performance, reach & penetration.
Collaboration:
• Working effectively with different functions, e.g. category marketing, digital, e-com, sales, and chefs’ team and provide them with marketing support. Project & budget management:
• Manage operator marketing routine tasks, including managing production/procurement of marketing materials, PO and follow up for supplier payments on delivery, etc.
• Manage Operator marketing budgets.
