The Territory Manager is responsible for the growth and expansion of sales by working proactively with various internal and external stakeholders, technical working groups,, NUPCO and national programs.

The incumbent is expected to provide dynamic leadership and motivating the team to execute the strategies that achieve profitable sales revenue ensuring the growth of the business while maximizing business opportunities and growing revenue across full product portfolio in Laboratory, Hospital, Clinic and Point of Care markets.

Responsible for managing and growing Cepheid business within the assigned geography for both customer accounts and prospect accounts including, but not limited to, institutional hospitals, private laboratories and POC settings.

Drive a complex, multi-departmental sale from the introduction of new diagnostic concepts through closure and implementation.

Negotiate and manage contracts and tenders with Key Accounts.

Introduce and develop new testing in Eastern region hospitals/Labs

Develop demand for, and adoption of, new assays and instrumentation.

Work closely with internal resources such as Clinical solutions team, Field Application Specialists and Marketing to develop and implement customer & region -specific sales strategies.

Develop and deliver presentations and proposals

Host and assist with product shows

Manage customer data in the company CRM (Salesforce.com).

Achieve instrument and reagent sales goals

Leverage the DBS tools to solve problems and sustain results.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical field .  e.g. Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Oncology, Virology or similar like Nursing.

7+ years of relevant work experience in a sales position.

Strong track record of sales success, specifically in selling high value products

Expertise with demand creation and multi-departmental hospital sales is a plus

Diagnostic/ Laboratory experience is a Plus

Knowledge of the different business models in the Diagnostics industry, GPPRR, RR etc...

Priority for candidates who know the Saudi market (specially the Eastern Region)

Fluent in English & Arabic

Knowledge and skills:

Solution selling / consultative sales approach

Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills

Customer focus and relationship building skills

Strong oral and written communications skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Have a sense of urgency

Skilled in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Skilled using a CRM application(s) such as Salesforce.com or others

Other:

Fluent in Arabic and English

Travel 50-75% mainly in Eastern region of Saudi

Job Description

Lead Regulatory Affairs strategy, its programs and polices and provide strategic direction to regulatory activities on both new and in-line products in accordance with health authorities to define registration strategy and planning.

Role in Middle East, Turkey, Russia and Africa (META) Leadership Team role, and first point of contact for Regulatory for the General Manager of META.

Lead a team of 8 direct reports across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Russia, and South Africa.

Job Responsibilities

META LT role and first point of contact for Regulatory for the GM of META.

Lead, shape, drive and execute all Regulatory Affairs priorities for all product classes (medicinal products, medical devices, cosmetics) across META

Lead and manage the entire registration process, ensuring approvals of new products, manufacturing permits, import permits, and amendments to products

Lead regulatory strategy development to enhance speed to market for new product development, and lead execution. Ensure new license applications are submitted within agreed project timelines, and approvals are obtained as planned.

Ensure compliance with, and maintenance of, existing licenses.

Provide strategic directions to the business, accountable for delivering project goals and aligning functional strategies with business needs.

Team leadership. Build functional capabilities to enable growth. Manage resources capacity/allocation for required activities.

Lead interactions and negotiations with Health Authorities UAE and drive and oversee those in other markets, in connection with Pharmacists in Charge / Scientific Office managers, where applicable.

Shape the regulatory environment, driving an agenda to create an external environment in which our portfolio can thrive. Build a network with external experts.

Partnership with distributors and agents, where applicable

Ideally, has the credentials to take the role of Scientific Office Manager for Galderma Middle East (GME).

Minimum Requirements

Pharmacist Degree (PharmD)/ Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science.

Preferred  UAE MOH licensed pharmacist (with active certificate)

12 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs, with at least 5 years in a team-leading role across multiple territories.

Hands-on technical experience in Middle East and(oversight) experience in one or more of the other territories (Russia, Southern Africa, Turkey)

Experience in the field of medicinal products and with additional relevant experiences in medical devices and/or cosmetics.

JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role:

Manages a group of client service professionals within a part of a large or mid-sized market or an assigned group. Responsible for quality and service to client, ensuring client obtains maximum value from products and services.

Develops, manages and delivers support services to the organization's sales force. Collects and interprets sales data and analytics, manages large sales initiatives, and provides operational support.

Responsible for retaining and strengthening current relationships. Works closely with account managers and sales specialists to ensure sales renewals. Liases with sales and delivery groups for clients.

Maximizes cross-sales opportunities through customer profiling with the ultimate goal of cultivating interest in other solutions and services.

Role Overview:

60% of the role is to ensure overall client satisfaction as prerequisite for further successful business development and 40% of the role is to secure and grow our base business revenue.

Responsibilities:

Under some guidance, coordinates IQVIA sales, consulting, service and business line activity to ensure that client needs are met by following an account plan to achieve IQVIA budget and client satisfaction targets.

Client Service

- Represents IQVIA to the client and the client to IQVIA in all service and sales related activity

- Manages basic to complex (approximately 3 to 5) accounts

- Builds client relationships across the client organization, from Business Insiders to Senior Executives

- Resolves 1st line service issues, and coordinates 2nd line support issues with the service teams

- Ensures thorough service reviews and transaction surveys that service agreements, contract specifications, and product deliverables meet clients’ specifications, including timeliness and quality

Manages a staff of client service professionals, providing direction and guidance and developmental opportunities.

• Partners with clients to derive optimal value from IQVIA services, ensuring a seamless flow of client requirements through the delivery services process.

• Serves as project leader between the client and IQVIA – translates client needs into action plans with the internal service team (i.e. determines responsibilities and timeframes and negotiates resources with internal departments).

• Creates, maintains and monitors the client service agreement across business lines, ensuring consistency in service.

• Performs full assessments of client needs on a regular basis.

• Provides in-depth training in IQVIA databases, products and service requirements (e.g. report-input deadlines) as needed.

• Partners with account management to price products.

• May provide input into local client service strategy.

- Secure renewal contracts, collections, CRs and up sale.

- Develops a tactical and strategic understanding of the client’s business issues, and recommends a compelling solution using appropriate IQVIA products and services

- Coordinates business development and service activity with the Account Director, Sales, Consulting and Service Specialists to validate opportunities to achieve account plan, revenue and client satisfaction targets

- Under some guidance, develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business and win back opportunities

Required background

Requires advanced business and technical knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS), Revenue Cycle Management, Pharmacy Management System,Payer/ Provider business (Healthcare insurance-business process and workflow) and other business related areas.

Minimum 10 yearsof prior relevant experience

Bachelor’s or above in either Business, health informatics, computer science/IT or any equivalent degree
