Start date ASAP

Candidate MUST already be living in Dubai

Monthly Salary 2000-2800 USD per month

Role is PMO Coordinator, not Manager.

Reporting to Program Manager

Day to Day activities :

Minutes of meeting and circulation

Arranging meetings

Preparing presentation

Concluding analysis

Time is 8 to 5, 6 days a week, expect at least 2 – days where extended work is expected that can be compensated with alignment with Program Manager but should not be picky

On Demand availability is critical : Program Manager spends weekends and late hours on programs and expecting the same this candidate

About the role:

As a freelance writer, you will be responsible for developing content in the form of blog posts, articles, landing page content and additional marketing content (email copy, etc.).

The freelance writer will be an integral part of our overall content marketing efforts to support our local and small business clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be capable of performing basic research when needed and have the ability to craft engaging content that is industry-specific and tailored to reach specific audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in researching and crafting thoughtful and engaging blog content, articles, landing page content, email copy to targeted audiences to help increase conversions
• In-tune with and open to learning more about our overall content marketing efforts to help us provide the best product possible to our clients
• Report to our content management team in a timely manner (must answer and respond to emails in 24 hours or less)
• Collaborate with other members of our marketing team to ensure that all content is on target and optimized for specific audiences

Requirements:

• Must be familiar with creating content that is optimized for SEO as well as conversions
• Must be reliable and able to meet all deliverable deadlines
• Must work well in a team/collaborative environment
• Must be communicative and responsive as this is how we provide our best product to clients

Compensation:

• The freelance writer will receive $45/hour base pay with the opportunity for higher rates depending upon the complexity of the assignment

• Proven experience in Hand Lettering
• Are experienced in illustration, animation, or graphic design
• Confident in creating Hand Lettering in both local script and English
• Have a strong eye for creating illustrations with style variation
• Posses a strong understanding of the fundamentals of illustration (visual and technical style)
• Have proven ability to select highly relevant, usable illustrations with high quality and technique
• Have online portfolio with illustration samples which are beautiful, clean and elegant
• Are skilled with Adobe Illustrator (Adobe Animate is a plus)

About the role

The mission of the Photos team is to create high-quality, diverse and inspiring photography. One of our biggest goals is to diversify and grow our image library providing our users with authentic, culturally relevant photos that they can use in their designs. 

Canva is a unique platform, different from other stock libraries that you may have worked with in the past. We are a platform providing millions of assets for free, to empower the world to design! We have 55 million active monthly users from all over the globe, as well as 8,000 photography contributors across multiple channels adding amazing content every day.

We are looking for photographers to join the Contractor Photography Pool that is managed by the in-house Canva Photo Production Team. We are interested in engaging an initial project with the opportunity of extending our relationship to ongoing, regular photography work across a 12 month period. We’re looking to engage with photographers on a part-time freelance basis, who are able to work on a list of creative briefs that we refreshing once a week. 

Our photography library needs a range of fresh, varied, and beautiful photos - so we’re after self-motivated photographers who would love to have room for creative freedom in answering a brief in one or more of the following categories: 

*Portrait 

*Photo journalism

*Fashion 

*Trend 

*Sports 

*Still Life/Product Food 

*Landscapes/Architecture

What you’ll do...

• Collaborate closely with the Canva Photos Production Team during the pre-production stage. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Casting the appropriate models, Booking the appropriate studio/location, Securing signed model/property releases when applicable, Booking relevant creative collaborators when appropriate (i.e. hair and makeup artist, fashion stylist, etc.), Sourcing relevant props, Mindfully allocating the provided allowance, Securing official receipts for all expenses
• Shoot photographs in line with creative briefs directed by the Canva Photos Production Team and in line with the provided technical guidelinesMeet the production deadline by executing the production in an efficient manner
• Submit a refined set of photos, choosing only the best shots per layout
• Upon the approval of photos by the Canva Photos Production Team, submit the invoice along with the official receipts for all expenses for processing

Experience you’ll need ...

• An online portfolio showcasing your photography.
• Have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of photography 
• Are skilled with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom or other similar post-production software.
• Have a good command of English and the local language
• Own your own photography equipment 
• Be available to commit to at least one shoot every fortnight
• Have the ability to take creative and art direction from the Canva Photo Production Team
• Have a strong eye and experience shooting images with style variations
• Have the ability to source talents and secure necessary releases (model release, property release, etc.) 
• Are able to manage production within the allotted production timeline 
• Have proven ability to deliver fresh, relevant, high-quality photographs

We are looking for a great creative mind to plan, implement and manage the company’s overall and our client’s SEO strategy. You will need to analyze and identify gaps in website content, optimize pages for improved search results, build links, and supervise content creation.

You should be able also to identify marketing opportunities and come up with strategies to increase website traffic. Efficient planning of the business’s marketing campaigns including communication with the team and management on project development, timelines, and results will be an important part of your role.
