Overview of the role:

Perform pricing function for Overseas lease and rental business.

 

What you will do:

Financials

    Circulation of standardized pricing rate list to Sales team.
    Tender Pricing: Review of tender requirements and preparation of pricing simulation files for review with management.
    Preparation of pricing for special requirements like fabricated vehicles, extensions, etc.
    Calculation of rental holding cost and maintain DOA for rental rates.
     

Systems

    Tomorrow Journey readiness for quote creation
    Update with latest models, purchase prices and all cost elements. Ensure DOA set up for margin flow in system is done.
    Make quotations for special pricing.

 

Governance and process improvement

    Overall governance of pricing activity including margin control, pricing policies etc
    Governance of tender review process in collaboration with tender management team
    Manage the system governance from control and DoA perspective
    Governance of automated Lease rate calculators for different channels
     

Required Skills to be successful:

    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pricing within Automotive
    Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
    Good communication skills
    Good analytical thinking and skills

 

About the Team:

This role will be reporting to Pricing Manager.

 

What equips you for the role:

    Education: Accounting background.
    Minimum Experience and Knowledge:  Minimum 3 years of experience pricing/costing function
    Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks: Data Analysis, MS-Excel, Costing

About The Role

This Business Performance role is to manage the CXOs and VP Finance of the Retail division with senior stakeholder and Retail Board engagement through insightful, actionable and compelling financial communications. The role will also coordinate budgeting/forecasting and financial reporting, and own the completion of the relevant outputs, including budget/forecast packs and strategy presentations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

·       Support the development and execution of the company's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities.

·       Coordinate with key stakeholders to set long-term financial goals aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

 

Prepare Strategy Presentations for CXOs/VP Finance:

·       Create high-quality, insightful, and visually compelling presentations for the CXOs/VP Finance, presenting strategic insights, financial forecasts, and recommendations.

·       Translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights to facilitate informed decision-making at executive level.

 

Financial Modelling and Analysis:

·       Support development sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

·       Support scenario analyses to assess potential impacts on financial performance and advise on risk mitigation strategies.

·       Drive the delivery of future focused decision making through the delivery of financial analytics.

 

  Business Performance Analysis:

·       Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing regular reports and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and provide financial insights to drive performance improvements.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities:

Issuance of reports to facilitate discussions with/between senior stakeholders.

·       Source, collect and collate relevant inputs from various stakeholders and present results in reports, tables, and charts; interpretations in high-quality, insightful, and visually compelling presentations at set frequency and within agreed timeframes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

·       Support department heads and relevant finance business partners with creation of respective business/strategic plans

·       Work closely with department heads to understand business plans and incorporate them into financial projections.

·       Provide competitive benchmarks for existing financial and operational performance against market and industry trends, identifying business risks and opportunities.

 

 Strategy & FP&A presentations:

·       Own the creation of Retail Board packs for budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting.

·       Create ad hoc presentations for the CXOs/VP Finance as required.

 

 Financial Reporting:

·       Support creation of monthly and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders

·       Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in financial reporting.

 

 Collaboration and Communication:

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for financial analysis.

·       Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner to non-financial stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) with a minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience, with at least 4 years of experience in Business Performance Reporting or FP&A roles (or similar role) within the retail industry with strong background in dealing with senior stakeholders both financial and non-financial. 

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to ‘tell the story’Through PowerPoint packs, and to present financial information to senior audiences stakeholders effectively

Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems i.e.: Oracle/SAP, Hyperion, BI etc.

Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic financial management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.

Proficient in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and utilizing advanced Excel functions.

Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall business strategy.

Ability to simplify complex environments and work with ambiguity.

Ideally with Finance/Consulting/banking background

Additional Requirements:

·       Self-motivated

·       Able to work under pressures and to strict deadlines.

·       Applies a good level of emotional maturity in their role.

·       Organized and methodical.

Overview of the role:

    The purpose of the role is to manage the planning of Passenger Vehicle supply and demand of Honda in the UAE and International Markets. The Operations and Planning Manager is accountable for Demand Management, Sales Planning, Sales Operations whether to Retail, Corporate or Fleet customers. Responsible for the key functions of annual sales plan and demand order plan. Develop demand and sales forecasts at multiple levels across distribution channels. Improve the stock turnover by reducing the risk of excess and Obsolete stock. OEM and internal liaison, reporting and forecasting. Campaign management and vehicle life cycle support.


What you will do:

    Sales Planning strategy that delivers brand market share and profitability targets.
    Using best available data to forecast market and segment model mix volume and using the information to establish appropriate budget/forecast assumptions for sales and stock planning.
    Carflow management to ensure healthy balance sheet position and cash mgt. with efficient stock, from Factory order to final Customer Delivery, by influencing OEM, Suppliers, Group Value Chain teams (such as PDI, F&I) for UAE and International Markets.
    The development of the annual and quarterly sales and demand plan with the detail by models and channels.
    Prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results.
    Review sales and demand plan monthly with each distribution channels. Review and assess risk to supply and demand variability and identify opportunities to manage and mitigate risk.
    Lead continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and bias by implementing best practice.
    Develop and measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate forecast made, to assist in assessing the effectiveness of the demand planning and forecasting function.
    Interact with sales and marketing to understand forecast demand drivers.
    Regularly review stock levels and procedures to determine the appropriate level of stock required with considering future campaign activity and to place orders.
    Identify overstock and slow-moving vehicles and liaise with product manager and sales support manager to resolve issues.
    All ad hoc reporting, analysis, and presentation.
    Work closely with Product, Pricing, Sales Distribution channels to review sales, demand planning and performance, (with Brands, Principals, and relevant Center of Excellence).
    Report sales performance.
    Early identification of sales and demand issues and deviation of actuals from plan.
    Recommend sales and demand plan by month by model and by variant.
    Provide support and advice on sales strategy.
    Stock optimization.
    Review inventory policy and target service levels.
    Continuous monitoring of aged stock.
    Lifecycle management support.
    To provide data support with logistics to control the inbounds and clearing documents on time (and related requirements).
    Creating dashboards for monitoring of progress and process adherence.
    Perform Kaizen and projects to reduce operational costs.
    Taking necessary actions/advise for effective inventory control.

 

Required Skills to be successful:
1.- OEM experience in sales, operations, and demand planning.
2.- Strong expertise in data analytics.
3.- Experience in reporting and forecasting for multiple brands.
4.- Experience in driving commercial results.

 

About the Team:

    Reporting to the Managing Director and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

 

What equips you for the role:

    Bachelor’s Degree (MBA / MSC Preferred).
    5 years’ work experience in a multinational Sales and Marketing environment in leading Automotive brands.
    Experience in sales planning and demand order plan.
    Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain modules in other ERP system.
    Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ MS Projects) Power BI.
