Overview of the role:

The primary focus of the role will be to support the sales objectives of the company through achieving given sales and CSI targets and providing first rate service to current and potential customers of Honda.  
 

What you will do:

Achieve and maintain the company prescribed standard sales policies and procedures.
Achieve or exceed the allocated monthly sales targets.
Achieve or exceed NPS (net promoter score).
Ensure that Company procedures are adhered in terms of handling cash and credit customers.
Improve selling techniques and customer handling skills.
Maximize all sales finance and cash, including insurance, accessories, tinting window, service packages and paint protection, promoting parts exchange.
Ensure 100% Connect entry (web, telephone enquiries and wake-in) with proper follow up.
Ensure 100% zero overdue before close business hours.
Ensure 100% test-drive offered to all Honda customer with proper documentations.
Ensure 100% necessary documents have been submitted to the relevant department.  
Ensure quality of job to avoid errors/rework and take actions on customer concerns (internal/external) to improve operational ease and customer satisfaction.
 
Required Skills to be successful:
1.- Customer management experience.
2.- Sales experience.
3.- Negotiation experience.
4.- Communication skills.


About the Team:

Reporting to the Sales Manager and will work closely with the Sales team and internal and external stakeholders.
 
What equips you for the role:

Bachelors Degree or Diploma.
2-3 years automotive / retail / fashion experience.
Valid Qatar drivers license.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Proficient in English, Arabic advantageous.

Service Manager will ensure premium service consulting tailored to the individual needs of each customer and loyalty through offering high-quality service and customer care and attain the highest possible exploitation of selling aftersales services parts and accessory potential.
Responsibility

        Defines qualitative and quantitative annual targets for service.
        Derives or prepares suitable measures to achieve and control these targets.
        Implements and pushes through the measures relating to SME, service loyalty and parts, accessories, as well as guaranteeing a high quality of customer care.
        Organizes/monitors and evaluates internal service key figures in the retailer.
        Analyses the service market potential and its level of exploitation.
        Performs and evaluates regional market and competition studies for the Service area.
        Applies, implements, and checks service marketing and competition measures regarding LUCID Motors campaigns and specific Middle East and UAE market conditions.
        Defines a range of Aftersales services oriented towards the appropriate target groups, with consideration for the competitive environment.
        Implements standards/directives for service defined in the retailer and those specified by LUCID.
        Guarantees establish benchmarking in comparison with other retailers.
        Carries out internal workshop tests and quality measures, and implements improvement measures to improve service quality
        Oversee service team, auto service staff, and vehicle repair processes to deliver a positive service experience and maintain profitability
        Ensure delivery of customers’ vehicles on time
        Coach team members on ways to drive service sales, beneficial training program options, and customer service tactics
        Work with the service advisor to ensure proactive resolution of all customer complaints and make follow-up calls, as needed
        Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all automotive service capacities to increase retention and referrals
        Oversee all day-to-day job duties within the automotive service department with a focus on high employee and customer morale
        Guide the management of all automotive service department paperwork, including repair orders, invoices, and maintenance record
        Prepares and updates organizational diagrams and job descriptions for service staff.
        Responsible for planning and implementing the personnel requirements in Service (hiring, redundancies).
        Controls service advisor and service assistants based on defined key figures.
        Applies performance-related bonus systems in service.
        Conducts annual appraisal process with his service employees which includes the definition of an individual development plan for each employee.
        Defines working times and opening times in service in consultation with the aftersales Manager, if necessary, through developing, adapting and implementing working time models.
        Acts as a role model and ensures brand-compatible employee behavior.
        Legally represents service, based on consultation with the aftersales manager.
        Represents Lucid service in-house and externally.
        Cooperates with associations (chamber of commerce, etc.).
        Involved in planning construction work for aftersales with regard to process aspects.
        Ensures flow of information, in particular via extranet (definition of access rights, etc.).

Requirements

        Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineer, business, management.
        Business and/or technical training.
        Driving license.
        Professional experience in service section of an automotive dealership.
        In-depth knowledge of automotive technology, automotive service technician job duties, and automotive repair services is required.
        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
        Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
        Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
        Leadership experience.
        Experience in a motor vehicle company/industry.

Role Objective:

Actively manage the development of General Distributors in order to ensure maximum Sales & Marketing opportunities of MB Trucks are achieved, in the allocated markets within MENA region, involving potentially both CBU and/or CKD production

Steering and monitoring of the entire customer database incl. retail business and national fleets, per market, with the aim to maximize Sales as well as potential Aftersales revenue opportunities, in co-ordination with CSP market managers

Ensure full understanding of customer requirements, per market, in order to further develop customer specific solutions. Co-ordination with Product Management and CSP teams to further support in the development of products and downstream services

Steering and development of marketing plans in co-ordination with RC MENA marketing department with proper follow up and implementation of material/actions/events

Business development with local body builders & local leasing entities directly and/or indirectly in regards to all sales opportunities, per market

Ensuring Compliance and Business Ethics are adhered to according to laws and Daimler rule and regulations

Main Tasks

Sales & Marketing

Definition of annual target agreement for GDs (quantitative and qualitative) with continuous performance monitoring of achievements
Steering and direction in day–to-day business of GDs
Strategic co-ordination of customer database and customer visits, per market
Strategic co-ordination of sales/enquiry management per market with won/lost sales
Processing and evaluation of the special discount inquiries (SDI) of GD’s
Safeguard compliance measures implemented
MENA Regional Office

·     Operational Planning (OP) for quantitative and qualitative aspects, per market
Analysis and reporting of price positioning, per segment, per market
Monthly Kufri planning and reporting of volumes, per market
Accurate entering of agreed pricing conditions to ensure on time deliveries  
Definition and co-ordination of product types, specifications and technical requirements with support from RC MENA Product Management
Co-ordination with Order Centre/Logistics at DTAG Stuttgart for timely shipping
Follow up of deliveries and invoices to GDs
Body Builder Management / Leasing

Co-ordination and business development with local body builders & local leasing entities, directly and/or indirectly, to maximise all sales opportunities
Co-ordinated approach to technical requirements with RC MENA Product Management
Regular market & customer visits throughout the region
Customer Dedication

Continuous alignment of Sales & Customer Service & Parts activities with RC MENA CSP team in order to align and further drive the downstream performance
Co-ordination of Network Development requirements with RC MENA ND Team
Integrity and Compliance

Ensuring Compliance and Business Ethics are adhered to according to laws and Daimler rule and regulations
Personal Development

Regular training in line with individual development plan
Participation into product, sales tools, internal process, compliance training/updates
Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

 Graduate Degree in Engineering , Business Administration and/or equivalent qualification
Experience Requirements:

Commercial Vehicle Retail/Wholesale Sales & Marketing experience for min. 3+ years in MENA. Leadership experience preferable
Extensive knowledge of the Commercial Vehicle industries/segments in MENA
Technical understanding of truck products and downstream services (European OEMs)
Highly developed Negotiation and Communication skills
Distinctive Customer-Oriented focus
Cultural knowledge of MENA region
Language Requirements:

Fluency in English and French in necessary. Arabic is beneficial.
