We need a Site Roads and Infrastructure Engineer
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of civil works on the infrastructure project. This role involves regular site inspections, monitoring construction activities, and ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of civil works.
- Review and understand project drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Ensure that construction activities comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and document any issues or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve any construction-related issues.
- Monitor the work of subcontractors and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on inspection findings.
- Assist in the evaluation of contractor performance and adherence to schedules.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Experience in civil inspection, preferably in infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
